How Much Does a LinkedIn Ad Click Really Cost?

One of the most common questions we hear at B2Linked is:

“What’s the average cost per click from a LinkedIn ad?”

As you’d expect, the answer is: it depends. Let’s break it down with real-world examples.

North America: the most competitive market

If you’re advertising in English to North America, expect to pay between $10–$16 per click.

That may sound high, especially if you’re used to Meta Ads (around $5 per click). But here’s the key difference:

With Meta Ads, one of our clients had to throw out 90% of their leads.

On LinkedIn, leads were far more qualified because targeting is based on:

  • Job title
  • Company size
  • Industry
  • Even specific lists of companies or individuals

👉 These clicks cost more, but the lead quality is far superior.

LinkedIn Audience Network: cheaper but low quality

The LinkedIn Audience Network (LAN) can deliver clicks for as little as $0.27 per website click.

But the quality is far lower than traffic directly from LinkedIn.com.

💡 Pro tip: Unless you know exactly why you need it, turn this feature off. The best quality traffic comes from LinkedIn itself.

Costs around the world

CPCs vary significantly by region:

  • Western Europe: $8–$10 per click
  • Eastern Europe: $4–$6 per click
  • Africa & South America: as low as $2 per click

How to reduce costs

While the average CPC is $10–$16, with the right bidding and optimization strategies you can pay much less.

Across our client accounts, we consistently average $7–$8 per click.

👉 We covered the tactics behind this in detail on Episode 92 of the LinkedIn Ads Show Podcast.

Key takeaway

LinkedIn Ads are more expensive than other platforms, but the quality of leads makes the investment worthwhile.
