Gow to Access Change History on LinkedIn Ads
If you’ve ever used Meta or Google Ads, you know how easy it is to pull a change history report. It’s a powerful tool to track adjustments, hold your agency accountable, and confirm they’re doing the job you hired them for.
Unfortunately, LinkedIn Ads does not have this feature natively. But there are a few workarounds.
Option 1: contact LinkedIn ads support
If you absolutely need to know what happened in your account and who did it, your first step is support:
- Inside Campaign Manager, click the chat bubble in the bottom right corner to start a conversation.
- Alternatively, go to the Help section, click through until you’re allowed to submit a ticket, and continue via email.
⚠️ Tip: email support tends to provide a slightly higher level of detail.
Option 2: ask your LinkedIn ads rep
If you’re lucky enough to have a LinkedIn Ads rep, you can request change history directly.
But keep in mind:
- It’s not easy for them to pull.
- Give them a short time range to check.
- Provide specific campaign names to narrow the search.
What the report usually looks like
Don’t expect a polished report. Most of the time you’ll receive:
- Screenshots instead of exportable text.
- Basic details only:
- Timestamp of the change
- What the change was
- Which user made it
- Timestamp of the change
Key takeaway
While LinkedIn Ads doesn’t yet offer native change history reporting like Meta or Google, you can still get visibility by reaching out to support or your LinkedIn Ads rep.
